Information on the processing of your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.

The German version is authoritative. This translation is provided for convenience only.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Sasisegaran Ramathas
Im Schlingen 22
32120 Hiddenhausen, Germany
Email: info[at]padangal.de
Phone: +49 160 4874262

2. General information

This website can generally be used without providing personal data. Personal data is only processed if you enable this by entering your data — for example when you contact us via the inquiry form, by email or via WhatsApp.

Personal data is processed exclusively within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). When you access the website, the host automatically records information transmitted by your browser in so-called server log files. These typically include: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected to ensure secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

The hosting provider is webgo GmbH, Hamburg, Germany (www.webgo.de). Where required, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host. The provider's full address can be found in webgo's privacy policy.

4. Contact via the inquiry form

The inquiry form on this website does not send any data to a Padangal server. Instead, your entries are compiled into a message exclusively within your browser and handed over to your own email program or to WhatsApp. Your data only reaches us once you send it via this channel you have chosen.

Which data is processed and on what legal basis depends on the communication channel you choose (email or WhatsApp, see the following sections).

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, details about your event) is stored to process your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfil a contract on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

6. Contact via WhatsApp

If you contact us via WhatsApp, the data you transmit is processed via the WhatsApp service. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Please note that WhatsApp processes its own data (e.g. metadata, phone numbers) and that data may be transferred to third countries (including the USA).

The use of WhatsApp takes place at your express request; the legal basis in this respect is Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR. We have no influence on the data processing carried out by WhatsApp itself; WhatsApp's privacy terms apply.

If you do not wish to transmit data to WhatsApp, please use one of the other contact channels offered (email or phone).

7. Storage period

We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to handle your inquiry or to fulfil the contract. Beyond that, we store data insofar as statutory retention obligations exist (e.g. under commercial or tax law). Once the relevant purpose ceases to apply and any retention periods have expired, the data is deleted.

8. Recipients / processors

Your data is only passed on to third parties insofar as this is necessary to process the contract or there is a legal basis for it. As part of hosting and communication by email or WhatsApp, technical service providers may act as recipients.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Insofar as processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.

10. Right to object

Insofar as the processing of your data is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

11. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, any web analytics tool, advertising pixels or embedded map or social media services. Only technically necessary mechanisms required for the operation of the website are used.
